This is the place where it happens..my studio, established in 2011. In my former life I was a physician with a critical focus on evidenced based medicine, but quickly learned there was an art to the practice of medicine. That's probably why the shift to art came easily. My three mentors are Michel Beaudry and Bonnie Baxter, both of Val Davíd, Quebec, and Corva, my lifelong partner. Early on I labeled myself as an assemblage artist, outsider or better yet, an autodidact. Now I realize I'm just a person filled with the love of creating. Early on I was influenced by the works of Doug Owens and Debra Butterfield, but rapidly drifted to "what was deeply scripted from within". Once introduced to the works of Picasso and Braque, I fell in love with Cubism which has influenced my vision focusing on geometric designs allowing for abstract expression of life forms.
